Remote Indication Panel (RIP)

The Remote Indication Panel (RIP) offers reliable remote monitoring of the system status for Medem gas detection systems. By connecting directly to the system’s relay output, it provides clear visual feedback via green/red bi-color LEDs, indicating the status of the system.

Capable of monitoring up to eight individual relays, the RIP features eight bi-color LEDs and an internal, mutable tone alarm that activates when a relay transitions from closed to open. This allows for real-time system status updates, ensuring safety and control.

Each LED is paired with a dedicated space for custom identification labels, making it easy to identify and manage relay statuses at a glance.

Medem’s industry leading five-year warranty is a demonstration of the company’s confidence in the quality and design of its products.

This applies to the main panels and sender units, gas detectors carry a 2-year warranty.

Why not let us install your system and receive a 10-year Warranty?

Where we’ve commissioned an installed system, the warranty is extended from five to ten years. At the time of commissioning, photos and gas pressure readings are recorded along with other relevant details of the installation. A 24-hour helpline number and the serial number is attached with the panel and all details are then entered on to the Medem database.

Service

The panel and sensors must be re-commissioned and tested every 12 months as a minimum but with consideration of every 6 months dependant on gas type and environment. Medem offers cost-effective yearly service plan options which include detector exchange to assist in service budgeting
