Product Specification

The AGDS-2em V2 is a gas detection system with gas valve isolation.

In the event of a high alarm from one of the detectors, the system will isolate the gas valve and operate any configured relays, beacons or sounders. Low alarm indication is also given.

Single or Two Channel

Up to two Medem gas detectors can be connected for the detection of natural gas, LPG or carbon monoxide.

Panel controls include an ‘Emergency Stop’, ‘Mute’ and ‘Reset’ buttons.

Features

The LED’s will display appropriate information about alarm situations and detector status.

Panel controls include ‘Mute’, ‘Reset’ and Emergency Stop buttons. Remote emergency stop buttons and thermal links can be monitored and there is also a fire alarm input which will close the gas valve when activated.

Remote Indications

There are two change over mains rated relays which can be used to activate a beacon/sounder, a fan or signal to a BMS system.

Each relay is able to be set to report one of the below statuses:

Generic Alarm
Low Alarm
High Alarm
Detector Fault.

Medem’s industry leading five-year warranty is a demonstration of the company’s confidence in the quality and design of its products.

This applies to the main panels and sender units, gas detectors carry a 2-year warranty.

Why not let us commission your system and receive a 10-year Warranty?

Where we’ve commissioned an installed system, the warranty is extended from five to ten years. At the time of commissioning, photos and gas pressure readings are recorded along with other relevant details of the installation. A 24-hour helpline number and the serial number is attached with the panel and all details are then entered on to the Medem database.

Service

The panel and sensors must be re-commissioned and tested every 12 months as a minimum but with consideration of every 6 months dependant on gas type and environment. Medem offers cost-effective yearly service plan options which include detector exchange to assist in service budgeting.
