The SafeSpace-V is a gas detection system with ventilation interlocking gas valve isolation.
In the event of a a fan failure or high alarm from one of the detectors, the system will isolate the gas valve and operate any configured relays, beacons or sounders. Low alarm indication is also given. The OLED will display appropriate information about alarm situations and detector status.

Ventilation Interlock
Interlocking can be achieved with the use of airflow switches or current monitoring.
Gas Detection
The SafeSpace V is a gas detection system which can monitor the atmosphere for CH4, LPG, CO, CO2 and Oxygen Depletion when fitted with the appropriate Medem detectors.

Medem’s industry leading five-year warranty is a demonstration of the company’s confidence in the quality and design of its products.
This applies to the main panels and sender units, gas detectors carry a 2-year warranty.
Why not let us commission your system and receive a 10-year Warranty?
Where we’ve commissioned an installed system, the warranty is extended from five to ten years. At the time of commissioning, photos and gas pressure readings are recorded along with other relevant details of the installation. A 24-hour helpline number and the serial number is attached with the panel and all details are then entered on to the Medem database.
Service
The panel and sensors must be re-commissioned and tested every 12 months as a minimum but with consideration of every 6 months dependant on gas type and environment. Medem offers cost-effective yearly service plan options which include detector exchange to assist in service budgeting
